First topic message reminder :

As this forum has been created I thought we could use it as means to build a model from sracth,i.e. from just a plan,we could share a complete build of a model from what we do with plan, right up to final set up,upload pics of our build so far,and get help from other members if something is not adding up.
Not only would it be good fun,but for some of you guys that have not built from scratch now would be a good time to give it a whirl.
So if anybody is up for this, answer the post and we will get going,I have some idea's on a good first time scratch build model suitable for IC or electric.

Come guys lets make this forum work

Hey Davy,
Most of my planes have six channel RXs,
Only use 5 channels, 1 electronic speed controller,BEC
2 elevator servo
3 rudder servo
4 aileron servo
5 aileron servo.

Most electric planes only use 3 channels, but not many companies make,3-4 channel RXs.
Its no different for a ducted fan model,

2 channel RXs are no good sorry,

Ah sorry I mean the planes channel, as I would use my 7 channel rx and tx in my nitro. Still going through the site to decide why?

Hiya davy, the spitfire does look very nice,I could not see what material it was made from, eps I think.
A few guys on parkflyers have have had not joy with HK,it has been months and orders not turned up,just a word of caution.
FMS make a large 1400w/s and a small 800mmw/s spitfire, made from epo and someone is selling them on trademe, watts up are ment to be getting a order of FMS planes in,about 5 weeks away.
I want just the airframe,no radio gear no motor, servos etc.
Did you notice there are none in stock, you dont want to get stuff on back order,it could take years. Shocked
