| Hi Davy----Haveing found the 3\4 plumbers blue tubing to have been very successful in makeing transport stands,I am now in the process of designing wall stands for same.I have the fuselages lying horizontal on their sides so the horizontal stabiliser is sitting vertical and lying head to toe to get them as close as possible to each other and to the wall. The wings are also horizontal and sitting on their leading edges, also to get them close to the wall. With a little planning with "t's" and elboes I have got my Astra Hog,and a Super lazy Ace{not quite finished} all happily on one wall. The small electric still hangs from the ceiling!! Mine is pinned to the wall but if I had thought about it I could have made it "l" shaped and it would have been free standing in the corner--------project for later when the next model arrives!!. It really is not all that expensive and it is very quick and easy to build, and of course you can make it dismantable[is that a word!!] if you as you say are renting and have to take it to another house---Hope this helps--Dougal | |
